BSOD installing windows XP on Raid HDD's 0x0000007B?
I built a new computer and installed windows vista ultimate 64. After I decided nothing works for it, I bought XP MCE 2005 and ever since fell into problems installing.
I get the blue screen of death when it comes time choose HD and format. I've tried installing Raid+controller drivers from the Motherboards drivers CD but that doesn't seem to work. Even F6 doesnt work when prompted to install drivers.
I've searched the web for this and posted on many forums but nobody seems to know the answer or help. Yahoo answers is my last hope.

The 'F6' RAID drivers MUST be on a 3.5" FLOPPY disk. If you made the floppy disk yourself, maybe the floppy disk isn't set up quite right. There might be a floppy disk raid driver folder on the cd, or a floppy disk creator on the cd; if there is not, you have to download it from the manufacturer's website.
If it still doesn't work, you may want to try install it without raid and see if it works. Otherwise do you have an extra hard drive laying around you can try using to install w/o raid?
