Tips To Speed Up Laptop Computer
More and more people switch from desktops to laptop computers. This may be attributed to laptops being more affordable and more powerful. However, you may have observed that your laptop runs a bit slower compared with their desktop counterparts. Why? What should you do to speed up laptop computer? In this article, we will explain why laptops are much slower than desktops and how we can remedy this problem.
Why is your laptop slower than your desktop? Common knowledge tells us that laptops are a small version of pc's. The truth is, they may run similar programs and perform similar operations, laptops and pc's are two distinct machines.
Laptops are relatively slower than its pc counterpart. The reason is that laptops have to compromise some things to maintain its size as well as its battery life. {Laptops have slower clock speed than desktops to keep its performance at par}. {Memory is also a big issue to consider since larger memory requires more power to run}. These are some of the things that you need to understand about your laptop before you decide to go back to using your desktop. Nonetheless, there are several ways to speed up your laptop and to keep its performance reasonable.
Learn to declutter. Over time, things pile up in your disk that make your laptop run slow. {It can be in the form of unused files, unnecessary files, useless programs, and temporary internet files you didn't realize to be in your computer}.
{To remove unimportant documents, mp3, photos, and videos, go to the folders where they are saved, choose files you wish to remove, and delete these files}. To completely erase the traces of these files from your hard disk, empty your recycle bin. Remember though that after you have emptied your recycle bin, they are permanently deleted.
Useless program, or those programs you have no use of, should be uninstalled properly. {Go to the Control Panel and choose Add/Remove programs. Identify the programs you no longer need, then uninstall them to free up some space}.
Temporary internet files are little data that are saved from webpages you have previously visited to improve browsing speed. These files are saved in your computer and use a considerable hard drive. {Delete these files by going to the "Clear Browsing History" in the Tools Tab of your browser}. {Delete cookies, history, form data, and temporary internet files}.
Other effective ways to speed up laptop include defragmentation, disk clean up, virus and spyware and clean up. During operation, limit computer use to a bare minimum. While most laptops handle multi-tasking pretty well, multiple files that are opened at the same time take up a lot of computer speed that can eventually slow your laptop down.
Blueprints for flashing LED light with speed switch?
I need blueprints for a device that has one LED light and a speed switch wich you can turn around with screw driver or something.
I forgot to add that the LED must look like a car alarm or something but WITH a speed switch.

They're called 'schematics' btw, not blueprints.
Making the LED look like a car alarm is a different problem than the "electronics". Generally you would buy an "add-on LED for car alarms" and mount it somewhere visible, and put the circuit somewhere else. If you put it all in one box it's not going to look like a car alarm.
