An Introduction to Asus P5B Driver
Asus P5B Driver is the software package designed for Asus P5B motherboards. They are launched to be used with the Intel core 2 duo processors. The motherboard driver is available in three versions where all of them have a LGA socket 755. In technical terms, the motherboard is known as the ATX form factor motherboard with a size of about 8.6 inches of width and nearly 12 inches of length.
The driver supports DDR2 memory sticks with a 240 pin RAM socket. A total of 7 PCI slots is another feature of the Asus P5B motherboard among which three are configured as x1 slots, another three for default slots and the last one for x16 slot. The board is adequately configured with enough number of USB slots too. Apart from these, an eight channel audio port and a gigabit LAN controller together makes the driver more advantageous.
You can also find floppy connectors, IDE connectors and serial ATA connectors for establishing solid connections with the peripherals. One of the major issues to be remembered is that you need to update the BIOS settings regularly so as to get benefited by the applications and features that are introduced day by day.
Updating BIOS does not irritate you by forcing yourself to take your processor to service center and all. You can update it from home itself by downloading the new version files from internet for free. You can also keep in touch with the Asus P5B Driver's official website for latest updates so that you are not staying away from advancing technology.
P5B E and P5B deluxe are known as the elder brothers of Asus P5B Driver as the former ones are more advanced versions compared to the later one. They support Wi-Fi in addition to the other common features available in Asus P5B motherboard.

Intel Core I7-930 Evaluate
Overview
A excessive finish chip for mainstream cash? That'll be the Intel Core i7 Processor i7-930. Based on the mighty Bloomfield core, it is an identical in most respects to processors costing up to £800. But it surely's yours for £200 and change.
In comparison with those high chips, the i7-930 solely offers up a bit of clockspeed. Nonetheless, at 2.8GHz - plus a little bit additional when Intel's Turbo function kicks in - it's hardly a slouch on the frequency front. More importantly, you get all of the high end Bloomfield options, including 4 cores, eight threads, a triple-channel memory controller and the uber-bandwidth QPI interface.
Like other Intel processors for the LGA 1,366 socket, the Intel Core i7-930 is arguably over-engineered for the desktop. However like a Eighties Mercedes, there's satisfaction to be had from figuring out you personal something so impeccably constructed, even if among the details are overkill.
Of course, like an previous Merc, running a 930 would not come with out cost. Motherboards and reminiscence are expensive. In that context, Intel's personal Core i7 870 processor offers a greater return in your investment. What's extra, the latest arrival of six-core processors from Intel has made Bloomfield a little less desirable.
Verdict
The Bloomfield core that varieties the basis of the i7-930 is sort of two years old. Odds are it will not survive the introduction of Intel's new Sandy Bridge class processors firstly of 2011. Regardless of all that, it nonetheless produces the goods.
The foolish-money, six-core Core i7 970 and Core i7 980X chips apart, the 930 is still extremely competitive. In multi-threaded software program equivalent to video encoding {and professional} 3D rendering, it is admittedly a little bit slower than the likes of Intel's personal Core i7 870 and the six-core AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black edition. But it's close sufficient that the subjective end-user experience is more or less indistinguishable.
What's extra, for gaming the 930 is totally killer. In our World of Conflict benchmark, it takes down the Core i7 870 handily and completely annihilates the six-core AMD chip. The LGA1,366 socket with its large bandwidth really does make for an awesome gaming platform.
If there is a disappointment, it's the 930's overclocking headroom. In isolation, 4GHz is fighting match for a 2.8GHz processor. Nonetheless, the fact that our older and theoretically slower Core i7 920 pattern hits 4.2GHz just goes to show that Intel has pretty much hit the tip of the road with the Bloomfield core. No matter model you purchase, you'll be able to count on round 4GHz.
In that context, the £forty or so required for i7-930 over the 920 most likely isn't worth it for overclocking enthusiasts. That stated, the hardest problem comes from the aforementioned Core i7 870. Sure, the 870 is a bit more expensive. But it surely's an LGA1,156 chip and that means cheaper motherboards and memory, and in turn a lower overall platform cost.
We appreciated:
Like a Leica digital camera or a Rolex watch, the Intel Core i7 Processor i7-930 oozes engineering integrity from each pore. It is an incredibly nicely specified CPU. Despite its age, subsequently, it remains competitive in all types of software program and packs a particularly hefty gaming punch.
We disliked:
Whereas the Intel Core i7 Processor i7-930 itself is fairly priced, the price of supporting motherboards and triple-channel memory kits spoil the general worth proposition. It's also value noting that the Bloomfield core has matured to the point that this model seems to offer no additional overclocking headroom over the cheaper Core i7 920.
Verdict:
A superbly engineered CPU. But Intel's LGA1,156 CPUs make extra sense for most.
Does my motherboard have a LGA 775 socket?
I have a MS-7207PVG motherboard. I'm unable to find any information on this. Does it have a LGA 775 socket?
This review places a AMD Athlon 64 3800+ CPU in your mobo:
http://browse.geekbench.ca/geekbench2/view/5834
this CPU appears to be a socket 939 as far as I can tell, but if you take a look at the motherboard, it usually has the socket type printed right where the CPU is fitted, take care though - if you are not used to pulling computers apart, find someone who knows what they are doing...!
NB. I also have an inkling that the 3800+ may also have been made for socket 754 too - but either way - it is not 775 as the 775 is a pentium and therefore CANNOT be compatible with this board (assuming the review is kosher..)
In case this is all gobbledegook to you...the answer is NO! your motherboard is AMD not PENTIUM (socket 775) it seems
